Further Mathematics (A Level)

What is an imaginary number and how can you solve equations that can’t be solved using algebra? What is the best route if you have to deliver parcels around the country? By studying Further Mathematics you will be able to answer these questions and many more.

You will study the core Mathematics modules and additional topics such as complex numbers and matrices. In Applied Mathematics you will study mechanics, statistics and decision mathematics. At the end of the course students gain two A Levels, one in Mathematics and one in Further Mathematics.
