Aims and Objectives

The overriding aim of the University Quarter is to create a Knowledge Economy for Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

The four key strategic objectives of the University Quarter’s offer are to:

  • Increase participation in learning- from all areas of the community
  • Increase attainment in qualifications – both vocational and academic
  • Increase progression in learning to levels 3 and above – from all routes and pathways
  • Better alignment of learning and business support provision – for both employers and individuals
