ART TRIP TO BIRMINGHAM

All AS and A2 Art students from the college took the opportunity to visit Birmingham in search of inspiration for their current coursework projects. The students are all working on an externally set assignment commonly referred to as the “Exam” project, in which they are tasked with selecting from a set number of questions.

‘Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery’ houses a wide variety of art, ceramics and exhibits; everything from Renaissance Masterpieces to Egyptian Mummies.

Students also got to see exhibitions of the work of Bridget Riley and an exhibition of leading Birmingham jewelers “FLUX”
