Biology Dissection Class

As part of the AS Biology course at the Sixth Form College our students study the heart.

In order to explore the heart more closely, Biology AS are given the opportunity to choose to take part in a practical experiment dissecting a lamb’s heart. It is up to the individual how involved they get in this practical and is certainly not compulsory. Some students work in pairs or groups others choose to just watch.
