The main business of the College Governing body - the Corporation - is to determine the educational character of the College, and to ensure its overall well-being and financial solvency. The Corporation meet at least 6 times each year and Governors also meet for Committee meetings between Corporation meetings. Minutes of the majority of meetings are available for public inspection at the College during normal working hours by arrangement with the Clerk to the Corporation. There are also copies available in the College Library.

Governors wanted!
Would you like to play a key role in helping the 6th Form College maintain its position as a high quality provider of post- 16 education in the City of Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire? The Corporation of the College is seeking motivated and dynamic volunteers to join the Board to help shape the educational character, strategic direction and mission of the College. The Corporation includes people from a range of backgrounds, with a variety of skills and knowledge, who make a vital contribution to the continuing development of the College. The Board is looking for individuals with a commitment to ensuring high quality general education for young people, who can work as part of a team and who may have business or strategic management experience. If you are able to attend 6-9 evening meetings of the Governing Body and its Committees a year and think that you could contribute to our continuing success, we would like to hear from you. Applicants from both the private and public sector are invited. The College would particularly welcome applicants from a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Although Governors are not paid, expenses may be claimed. For further information please contact the Clerk to the Corporation.
