On your Bike

The college supports sustainable travel and encourages students and staff to select the greenest method of travel to and from the college - you can’t get much greener than by bike or on foot!

The City has produced a cycle map and guide which details all of the cycle/walking routes in the area. If you fancy getting on your bike and coming to college, copies of the South City map are available at the college reception or online www.cyclestoke.co.uk.

Covered Cycle Storage

The college has invested in covered cycle parking facilities on the campus and invites students and staff to make use of these facilities.

Although the College accepts no liability for personal possessions on site, including cars and cycles, it does take seriously its commitment to try and make the site as secure as possible.

Hire a Lock

With the help of ‘Cycle Stoke’ we have now purchased a quantity of high quality shackle locks and extender cables to help secure cycles to the steel cycle bays. These locks are ‘Sold Secure’ and achieve a maximum security rating of 9. The loop ended steel cable provides extra security. These locks are available for hire from the College for a returnable deposit of £10.00 each. They do not guarantee 100% security but should act as a deterrent against potential thieves. There are also lockers available in the college for the storage of cycle equipment such as helmets.
