The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is one of the largest of its type in the country, situated in the centre of the City of Stoke on Trent directly adjacent to Stoke on Trent Train Station and Staffordshire University Leek Road Campus.
The Foster Review of Further Education recognised the distinctive role of Sixth Form College provision, the subsequent White Paper went further in providing an opportunity for Sixth Form Colleges to take a distinctive lead in developing excellence across the 14-19 curriculum.

We are committed to working closely with other providers of education and we are at the heart of the ground breaking project the University Quarter. This project will lead to exciting changes both physical and educational including the recent relocation of the Sixth Form College within the University Quarter in 2010.
Our Students
The College has around 1,700 full-time students aged 16-19, attracted from a wide area of North Staffordshire, including all areas of the City itself. The gender balance of students is almost equal, approximately 10% are from the ethnic minority community.The College’s mission is to provide high quality education in a caring environment, where all students are encouraged to achieve their full personal and academic potential.The College provides effective support to boost the development, confidence and social skills of individual students.There is a small adult evening class provision.
The Curriculum
The college provides a rich mix of curriculum opportunities for learners. Approximately 88% of students follow level 3 courses, 11% level 2 courses and 1% the foundation programme. An increasing number of level 3 students study a mix of vocational and academic courses.
Meeting the needs of individual students to enable success is at the forefront of the college revision. To ensure this, the college has developed a number of radical approaches to enable a more flexible approach to learning and teaching.
