Route 2: General Higher Education and Local H.E Providers

Here at the Sixth Form College we work in partnership with a range of universities in particularly with local universities to ensure the success of our students as they progress to full time Higher Education.

Local Universities

Studying locally can be the best option for some students and we have outstanding university facilities on our doorstep. We have excellent links with all the local universities: Staffordshire University, Keele University, Manchester Metropolitan, Chester University and Derby University. Our students regularly take part in workshops, presentations and taster sessions at and with these institutions.

Many of our students are also successful in gaining places on Access to Higher Education courses which give them a suitable progression route into full-time university courses.
