We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable IT Systems and Network Administrator to join our team at a reputable sixth form college in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, and providing support to staff and students.
The post will include a focus on providing knowledge, experience and management of the day-to-day administration of College systems and network infrastructure including SQL support MIS systems and Microsoft 365 technologies, supporting the IT leadership team with product upgrades, project implementation and system integrations.
You will take a proactive approach to the oversight and development of the IT Helpdesk, delivering engaging support to staff and students; developing existing digital capabilities through training sessions, implementing innovative solutions and triaging/escalating helpdesk tickets as appropriate. You will be part of an enthusiastic and energetic IT Services team, that fulfils the College’s requirement of supporting Teaching & Learning, and your expertise in SQL will lead and enrich core business functionality in delivering the College’s Digital Strategy.
