Salary: £25,826 -£42,149 per annum / pro rata 

Salary will be paid according to the Sixth Form College’s Salary Spine for Teachers

The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, at the heart of the University Quarter in Stoke on Trent. The College is part of the Potteries Educational Trust working collaboratively with educational institutions from across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. The College is currently graded Good by Ofsted.

  • A state of the art digital facility that opened in November 2020 
  • A specialist facility to accommodate T Level provision in Science, Health, Education and Business/Finance opening in 2022/2023 
  • Specialist equipment that enables teachers to provide high quality learning and skill development experiences for our young people. 

We are actively seeking people with passion, expertise and who are excited about supporting students on their career journey.  Having recent industry sector experience is advantageous. The College is supportive of new entrants into the teaching profession; we will therefore consider applications from graduates who are willing to undertake a supported teaching qualification as part of their professional development.

Primarily required to teach A level & BTEC Graphic Design and Textiles, but an ability to teach on a range of creative and design based subjects would be advantageous. The Creative & Digital Arts Department offers a range of courses including Art & Design, Photography and 3D Design.

We are excited to be delivering the T Level in Media, Broadcast and Production from September 2023, with the Ceramics T Level following in September 2024

The post would be suitable for an NQT, who are encouraged to apply, or an experienced teacher.
